Bare Minimum Roundup

September 24th, 2009

Bare Minimum Roundup

Now that all of the Bare Minimum games have overcome their various hurdles it’s time for a late, late roundup of last month’s titles:

Broken Brothers, by Michael Todd

ERGON/LOGOS, by Paolo Pedercini

The Thing with 40 Eyes Girl, by Ron Carmel

T. Time, by Kyle Gray

Canabalt, by Adam Saltsman

No Quarter:V-Sides, by Alex Austin

MinMe, by Chaim Gingold

Black Out, by Shalin Shodhan

I hope everyone’s FAILURE games are coming along nicely, less than a week before we find out whether we’re all due for a horribly ironic showing this month.

Great theme… My Favorite game was Canabalt, I think the sound, gameplay, and graphics all merge perfectly…

    Great Job :)

It was a fun month with good games. My favorite was Canabalt too, the atmosphere was just wonderful.

Broken Brothers is my favourite of this month. It’s a very minimalistic RTS and I can’t imagine how someone should complete this within 8 days O_o
And of couse there’s ERGON/LOGOS which is something entirely differnt to all games I played before, it’s more like poetry.

I liked Canabalt the best. The birds made my day.

I added birds to Broken Brothers Deluxe, because of canabalt, I just couldn’t stop myself. :D

Oh, and I’m running a development blog now. http://www.broken-brothers.com

Here is my entry for the Failure theme.
    It is called Mailure :)
Where You play with naughty boy at school who always fails at exams. So the principal of his school decided to send a mail to his mother, but sending one mail is not enough because the boy may stole it from the postman.
So the principal decides to send lots of mails till the boy’s mother call the principal.

    Hope you enjoy it :)
it took 46 hours and some minutes to finish it :)
